No store has a better reputation than IKEA. They even did a Saturday Night Live Skit on the store. THE GADFLY STAFF was there a few weeks ago and we can only say we love it! Investigator Sam works for a private company providing extra Security to the Professional Loss Prevention Staff at IKEA-CANTON.

I talked to alot of employees including Managers. This is what the GADFLY has discovered...
(1) IKEA is what is called a "Destination Store". They want you to goto it. From the people I talked to they have no plans to build another one in MICHIGAN.
(2) Weekend it gets really busy at the store.
(3) All of the employees are above average in skills, customer relations and other abilities. IKEA gets the best people.

(4) IKEA TAKE CARE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES. They are very loyal. One of the few places. They have free food days and events for their workers. Really cool of them.
(5) August is IKEA'S "Chrismas". The back to school crowd really helps the Store.
