The Fireman Crooner
First, The Gadfly Investigations Newspaper wants to congratulate all the police and firefighter finalists in Comerica's National Anthem Contest - so many talented first responders in SE Michigan. Now for the winner Martin Rucker - just an incredible performance sang a Capella inside the firehouse. On his new website he says, "I am living my 15 minutes of fame, and I'm hoping to get 15 more." He certainly deserves 15 more minutes and then some. I also like his new moniker, 'The Fireman Crooner'.. He will be singing at Saturday night's Tiger game for all of you lucky enough to have tickets. For the rest of us here is the links to his Facebook page, website and of course his winning video.
