Michigan State Police & Interested Parties Rally To Find Missing Persons

A new formula or idea, like so many, at the new Detroit Police Headquarters, was the place were again this new spirit of hope and skill mix- finding Michigan's Missing People.

(1) Volunteer Dog Teams- locate, search & cadaver
(2) Federal Bureau of Investigations
(3) Crime Stoppers
(4) National Center For Missing & Exploited Children

The private groups are certified and trained just like the State Police Troopers and dogs.

                        INVESTIGATIVE TECHNIQUES

          SPECIAL POLICE UNITS LOOK FOR THE MISSING

From trained FBI Agents to Students in Criminal Studies, the event featured Database Clearing Houses like the Center for Missing & Exploited Children to Crime Stoppers of Michigan, Police Agencies like the Michigan Department of State Police and Livingston County Police Officers.

Eloquent and heart-breaking, several families spoke during the event of the search for their loved ones.

Some told a story of closure, some of the continuing search; but all were thankful for the help from the Michigan State Police and other agencies (except one person)

The State Police have a new automated probe for searches which goes on a patterned search that is programmed AND DOES NOT HAVE TO BE PULLED BY A BOAT! There is only one of these.

Pontiac Nursery is steeped in local history- GOLDNER WALSH NURSERY

Sam Gurwin (Gadfly Investigations Newspaper, 5-1-16) Some might say the area is blighted but within it, like so many places across Detroit, is a gem of a place. One of the Buildings of the GOLDNER WALSH NURSERY is from the 1800's. Rich in history and serving the community, this place has withstood the test of time. 

Nusery Employee gives use a quick verbal tour of the facility!

 From Landscape Design to Weddings to Funerals to Plants for Sale, the Nursery employees are experts in the field. They have a great reputation in the area according to several customers I talked to.

One customer I talked to used them for many years at her Home. Presently there are 4 business using the front buildings including a Soap Making Company called CITY GIRLS SOAPS.
