Whiskey Tasting Festival showcases World Brands in Royal Oak

The night was fun as WHISKEY BUSINESS , a seemly private organization, put on this Whiskey tasting event at the great venue of the ROYAL OAK FARMERS MARKET.

There were about 30 tasting tables with Whiskies, Scothes, Rums and other related alcohols set up around the perimeter of the Market Place. One far wall had the very known Detroit Band, the Reefermen Duo; the center area were local vendors.

THE ENTERTAINMENT was of course the Whisky and related drinks, a huge JENGA GAME and live music by THE REEFERMEN DUO

LOCAL FARMERS MARKET HOLDS FOOD DELIGHTS!

Sam Gurwin, The Gadfly Investigations Newspaper (10-29-15). WHO KNEW? MORE THAN JUST THE STANDARD PRODUCE, the OAKLAND COUNTY FARMERS MARKET has crafts, good conversation and more! Since the 50's, this county stop has provided fresh produce and other outdoorsy items for County Residents.

Oakland County took over the management of the market in 2012. It's still going strong! They even have a grill thats open outside for a nice lunch.

DETROIT KNOWS ROCK MUSIC! AND SO DOES THE FOSTER BROOKS BAND!

And the music lives on. Since Elvis first shook his hips, Rock Music has inspired, entertained and made millions of people smile. Once again the FOSTER BROOKS BAND rocked out Commerce, Michigan at the Uptown Grill! A really solid performance, Lead Singer Sam was spot-on vocals this night! This was our favorite concert by them.
