New wave Violinist Diana said it all during her Band's performance at the Ferndale Michigan Public Library's Summer Concert Series. "We make sounds". So unique that they can play in a different variety of bands and music genres.
With classical Degrees in the classical arts, they have made their own brand of music- a growing market for post-pop and the new fusions like country & pop. The Moxies play upbeat Irish & other classical-based songs with a modern and ancient-like air. It is great!
An electric Violin, an electric Cello and a Drum Box (where usually a whole set is present), Fritz (on the drums) and Allison (on the Electric Cello) back up Diana on the Electric Violin.
A fun group with a good personalities- they got the crowd clapping several times during the performance. They are a talented & entertaining band. There was even a setion of the concert where they played each other instruments and at unusual angles and such. Check out the video here!
