At a Bar, a small Band of hardly souls did wear their STAR WARS OUTFITS at CRAWL WARS, a Star Wars Universe-Themed Bar Crawl. Other then 2 Bars in the Crawl (Fifth Avenue & Ale Mary's) which were not friendly to Crawl Members. Every Universe has its Villains but the Force continues on.. in this City not so far away!
MOCK BATTLE BETWEEN SITH & JEDI!
Starting at Fifth Avenue, the well-organized Employees of the Crawl checked people in and gave them a mug and even a light-up Light Sabers. So it began. Each Bar had drink specials and People went in groups to different ones. There were a few Bars to choose from at certain time brackets.
FUN & DANCING AT ROCK ON 3RD!
It was fun to meet new friends and a few were in professional Star Wars groups on Facebook. We ate at Tom's Oyster Bar as we were not allowed to sit in Ale Mary's. They reserved seats for non-crawlers and we decided to goto Tom's (both apart of the Crawl). I will not goto Mary's ever in the future. Strangely, the start of the Crawl was at Fifth Avenue; the start was great there but at the end of the Crawl and the supposed after-party they wouldn't let most Crawlers in. I will also not support this either in the future. But ROCK ON 3RD was amazing! They had their Jukebox with Star Wars Music in it along with some staff with Themed T-shirts. They let the Crawlers use the Dart-Board area as a dance floor- it was wood! The food and service were exceptional.
This Complex, down to one building being quasi-open to public for limited tours is located in Westland Michigan. Only 2 buildings left from a 900 acre property, this place has been in constant use since 1832 with the development of a Poor House and eventually an Asylum and Mental Hospital(1). Rumored over the years, as most old Psychiatric Hospitals are we had to go on the Tour! I assumed it was gonna be torn down soon so rush was the word. They are actually keeping the structure of the main building and making Senior Living Apartments or such out of it. Kinda like a Ghost-Hunter's Bucket List event!
We made sure we got the Halloween Night Tour from 12 am-2am! Plus it was a thunderstorm which helps give the Spirits energy and makes them more active. It was going to be a good night and we did come across some events! At the annotated time we had to stand in line in front and have the tickets and ID shown. The way it was set up was a professional Ghost-Hunting Group (Jeff Adkins of Detroit Paranormal Expeditions) was to guide us on each floor, give a short briefing on said for and then let us look around for about 15 minutes.
Collage Video of the night...a small portion of the 3rd Floor Showers where we feel chilled and Stephanie Caught an Orb!
The downside was that there were too many people; alot rude at that. Shining lights in ones face (no electricity in the building). The noise factor alone was bad as people were talking but we did break away and get some quiet time in a few of rooms. Some of the People were loud and a few drunk. We did our best to get to areas alone to do some Hunting.
SHOWER ROOM
Stephanie, who is a Sensitive felt a Presence plus caught an Orb! this was on the 3rd floor where Detroit Paranormal Expeditions found the most activity in their Investigations. Stephanie felt the chills and i did feel colder there.

THE OFFICE
One area of an Office Space (forgot which level) seemed to radiate a feeling according to Stephanie. We didn't catch anything on camera. We asked questions and such and I at least didn't get a response.
CONCLUSION
Well it was a great experience to see this Haunted Place before it is renovated. It was aittle expensive but worth it to get a Halloween Night Tour!
Small's Bar, a local Hamtramck Pub, best known for musical acts, Industrial Music and Dancing comes full circle with another brilliant idea- a POP-UP FOOD EVENT.
The SeaFood Sliders at Small's Bar
The Menu at the SMALL'S SLIDER POP-UP!
They have done this SLIDER POP-UP (a delicious burger made to order) before but last night is was all SEAFOOD SLIDERS! I partook in the Salmon Sliders and they were amazing. According to the Owner they are easy to cook.
Punk & 80's Music at Small's during their SLIDER POP-UP
VIDEO DURING THE SLIDER POP-UP AT SMALL'S
There was also music in the air...a great assortment of Punk, 80's and what I call College Punk. Billy Idol, Camper Van Beethoven and more! VJ Jazzy Jef Leppard had a huge screen near the entrance were he played videos of the music he was spinning. A super nice guy, we spoke about the music. Watching the videos and enjoying the food definitely is a great stress-relief if one had a hard day at work! Just a great air of relaxation at Small's tonight. I am looking forward to the next one! __________________________________
Being newer to Sushi, I have learned the differences on taste and when the food just sits there (as it has to be fresh). FUJI JAPANESE BUFFET seems to have both these qualities mastered!
Fried Rice and Ribs with a cold plate of Shrimp and Spicy Tuna Sushi
Located in the outskirts of hard working Madison Heights, MI, this restaurant is as hard working as its surrounding. A great staff helps with drinks and related items while you can go and pick Sushi and/or other items like standard Chicken, ribs or plain rice.
They have a full bar
The staff came around to the tables and offer whole lobsters to those interested. Not really my cup-of-tea but one guy took them up on the offer. The choices are numerous. This restaurant has the largest selection of Sushi I have ever seen. It is fresh and very good.
The Lobster Tank!
I highly recommend this place. Check them out in Madison Heights!
(Plymouth, MI) Another fun event added to the list of cool Winter things-to-do! The Plymouth Ice Festival, a yearly ice sculpture display event, has grown over the years into a fun weekend including a petting zoo, ice sculpture-making competition, circus performers and of course amazing ice displays! It was cold Saturday night when we went but warming ourselves at Sean O'Callaghan's.
Sam (Far Right) of Sean O'Callaghan's
Sam at Sean O'Callaghan's was a great guy and we promised to come back and eat there soon, The food looked really good!
THE DISPLAYS
From standard icons of local business to beautifully detailed mythical creatures, the circuit around the park in downtown Plymouth did not disappoint. It got alittle crowded but no issues arose from that. Kid-Friendly and a great time.
THE CROWD
Just like the fairs, there were food trailers and the atmosphere was jovial. There was a man on stilts making balloon animals and a area with stands for a ice carving competition.

DINNER AFTER
We had a great night but found the restaurants right there too crowded so we hit the Canton OUTBACK for a great streak dinner! Alot of people from the event went there! SO it was a perfect end to the night!
